PRODUCTION SERVICES
AFPI’s production departments operate a two-shift schedule and are available
on a 24-hour basis. We provide time-sensitive and precision print production and
fulfillment services for public offerings, mutual funds, proxy services, regulatory compliance,
and annual reports. Our customers have the option of using our in-house
composition and prepress services to prepare their documents, or they can supply us with camera-ready copy (CRC) and print-ready files.
This allows us to provide high-quality service through each phase of the document
life cycle that our clients have come to expect.
Prepress
Our prepress department is equipped to handle your most challenging projects,
using the latest software and hardware solutions available. We have experienced
staff, trained to recognize and correct file problems before the job is on the press.
Our specialists are experienced with high-end graphic programs, color correction,
and complex trapping issues. We offer digital and analog proofing solutions.
Press
Our press department provides one to six-color print capabilities to meet your
production needs. We offer multi-unit web presses for documents such as prospectuses
and proxy statements, and one to six-color sheetfed presses with aqueous coating
for high-quality
color pieces such as annual reports, corporate brochures, and other
marketing materials. In addition, we have digital printing capabilities for large
mailings, variable data printing, and print-on-demand projects.
Bindery
Our bindery and finishing department offers a comprehensive range of services, including
cutting, folding, saddle stitching, perfect binding, gluing, hole punching, scoring
and perforating.
